Now Hiring: Poultry Work

Position available year round.  This position is open to anyone starting at age 16, a driver's license is required. This position entails working directly with chickens, turkeys, and other live stock. Tasks will be done within livestock pens, you will be in direct contact with livestock, feed, water, manure, etc. This position is very physcial and requires standing, walking, bending, lifting crates (approx. 25lbs), loading and unloading, and more.  This position has a flexible schedule, but shifts are typically daytime shifts, 3-6 hours per day. We do work in all weather, so that should be considered when applying. APPLICANTS FOR THIS POSITION CAN NOT HAVE THEIR OWN CHICKENS AT HOME PER REQUIRED AVIAN FLU BIOSECURITY PLAN. 

Position available year round. This position is open to anyone starting at age 12. This position requires a lot of walking, bending, lifting, carrying egg crates (approx. 25lbs), loading and unloading vehicles and more physical tasks. Tasks will be done within livestock pens, you will be in direct contact with livestock, feed, water, manure, etc. This position has a flexible schedule, but collection happens in the afternoon most days. We do work in all weather, so that should be considered when applying. APPLICANTS FOR THIS POSITION CAN NOT HAVE THEIR OWN CHICKENS AT HOME PER REQUIRED AVIAN FLU BIOSECURITY PLAN. 

Position is available year round. This position is open to anyone starting at age 14. This position requires lifting, standing, bending and carrying crates of eggs. There is a lot of standing in this position. This position will be utilizing water to wash eggs so you are often wet and this should be considered when applying. This position has a flexible schedule, shifts are 4 hours, indoors.  Can customize shifts around school, mother's hours, etc. 

Position starts in late March and runs through October (potentially longer if desired).  Valid driver's license required.  The shifts vary by day depending on the season, but are often 10+ hours in peak season. This position requires lots of physical labor, lifting and flexibility with work schedule as tasks are not the same everyday.
